simply said
words tumble out of me to caress you
unadorned in their beauty
as they draw closer to the truth
they are broken by my fears
I hope the meaning is still clear

simply done
a days work is holy if you realize
it's the path you have chosen
do what is here before you
leave tomorrow for tomorrow
and the past for yesterday

Verse 3:
simply sung
when heart and soul are heard above the music
and spirit pierces every heart
sail away on the rapture and melody of life
sung by your soul

simply love
I open my defences and let you come inside
I am naked in your eyes
I am not afraid for I am safe inside of you
as you are safe inside of me
